Nghe An: Gang of loan sharks arrested for attacking people's houses with dirt and rat poison
(Baonghean.vn) - Within 2 months, Vuong and his followers continuously threw dirt, rat poison, and weed killer into a resident's house in Vinh City to terrorize him mentally.
On December 27, a representative of Vinh City Police (Nghe An) said they were temporarily detaining Nguyen Van Vuong (31 years old), Hoang Tuan Dung (24 years old), Nguyen Van Ngoc (21 years old, all residing in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen), and Nguyen Van Thang (26 years old, residing in Nam Giang, Nam Dan), to investigate the act of disturbing public order.

Among them, Nguyen Van Vuong with 3 previous convictions is considered the leader of this loan shark gang.
According to initial police investigation, in the past 2 months, this group has thrown dirty substances into the house of Mr. Nguyen Van L. (39 years old, residing in Hung Binh ward, Vinh city) 5 times to terrorize him mentally.

“At the police station, the group initially confessed that because Mr. L.'s relatives had borrowed money from them and had not paid it back, they threw dirty substances to terrorize him and forced him to pay the debt,” said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Cuong, Deputy Chief of Vinh City Police. He added that Vuong and his followers often covered their vehicle license plates, wore masks, and took advantage of the late night when there were few people passing by to carry out their acts, making the investigation process difficult.
The investigation agency determined that not only did they throw dirty substances, this group also bought rat poison and weed killer and dumped them in front of Mr. L's house.

After a long period of surveillance, in the early morning of December 25, the police raided a motel in Quan Bau ward, arresting Vuong and his followers while the group was using drugs together. The police are continuing to investigate and expand the investigation, believing that the group has caused many other incidents.
