Woman in her 50s broke into her neighbor's house and stole more than 37 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing that her neighbors were away and the door was unlocked, Ms. Quang (living in Anh Son district) sneaked into the house, rummaged through the wardrobe and stole more than 37 million VND.
Previously, at 10:00 a.m. on February 27, the Criminal Police Team of Anh Son District Police received a report from the Hung Son Commune Police Department that Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (born in 1937), residing in Quang Tien Village, Hung Son Commune, had her house broken into and 37.4 million VND was taken.

The Criminal Police Team coordinated with Hung Son Commune Police to examine the scene, verify, and establish Project 220T.
Through verification, it is known that Ms. Nhung lives alone, in a remote location with few people passing by. The time of the theft was determined to be the time Ms. Nhung went to her daughter's house, and the scene left no traces.
In addition, after losing the money, Ms. Nhung was in a state of panic and provided inaccurate information to the authorities. Therefore, the district police encountered many difficulties in solving the case.

At 4 p.m. the same day, Anh Son District Police arrested Ms. Dinh Thi Quang (born in 1969), residing in Hung Son Commune, Anh Son District, Ms. Nhung's neighbor. Ms. Quang admitted that on the morning of February 27, she took advantage of Ms. Nhung leaving the house and forgetting to lock the door, so she sneaked into the house and stole the money in the wardrobe.
Anh Son District People's Committee awarded the Project Board and Hung Son Commune Police for quickly solving Project 220T.
