From early morning, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung and his wife, the owner of the breakfast shop atTruong Thi ward, Vinh City hurriedly went to his shop to open after more than 20 days of "closing the door and locking the door". Thick layers of dust stuck on the tables and chairs, dry leaves covered the sidewalk, and he and his wife took turns sweeping them clean.
Mr. Hung shared: "Although food services have been allowed to sell take-out during the past time, however, due to the complicated developments of the epidemic, selling by delivery is both labor-intensive and the number of orders has decreased significantly compared to direct sales, so we have completely closed the store since June 8th until now. This morning, when I woke up and heard that licensed food stores can serve on-site, I was very excited so I went with my wife to reopen the store...".

Mr. Tuan - owner of a seafood restaurant in Vinh City said: From early morning, I contacted the old employees of the restaurant to come and clean, wipe the tables and chairs, the seafood tanks were all aerated and restarted. I also contacted the seafood suppliers to prepare to import new goods today so that I couldback in businessearliestAlthough most food service business owners are excited, many are still concerned about the epidemic situation, calculating safe distance arrangements as well as the number of customers after this epidemic.
Ms. Ha, owner of a Hue noodle shop in Ben Thuy ward, said: "Before the epidemic season, I sold 50-70 bowls of noodles every day, with customers coming in and out in droves. However, now that the shop has reopened, the number of customers will definitely not be as high. Therefore, I have to rely on the number of customers this time to balance the imported food. If I import too much but have few customers, it will cost me money and I will have to find a way to preserve the leftover food, which is very difficult."

Faced with that situation, to protect themselves and their families when reopening this time, many restaurant owners have proactively equipped themselves with hand sanitizer, required customers to wear masks when entering and leaving the restaurant, and arranged tables and chairs to sit far apart as recommended to avoid close contact...
