Bustling new rural construction movement in Do Luong district

In recent days, all communes in Do Luong district have responded to the launch of the peak emulation campaign "Building new rural districts, advanced new rural communes, and model new rural areas" in the district.

Organizations and unions have carried out many practical activities such as general cleaning, tree planting, decorating village roads and alleys, repairing irrigation works, dredging canals... with thousands of participants.

Ms. Vuong Thi Quy - Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Do Luong district said: "The emulation campaign was organized widely throughout the district, ensuring practicality and effectiveness; maximizing the role of the people as the main subject, the pioneering and exemplary spirit of cadres and party members. Everyone joined hands and determined to complete 7 targets, 25 district-level projects, 320 grassroots-level projects according to the plan set out in this emulation campaign".

According to general assessment in the first days of launching, the movement to build new rural areas took place enthusiastically and achieved practical results.

It is known that by the end of 2021, the entire Do Luong district had 32/32 communes meeting the new rural standards. Of which, Yen Son commune met the advanced NTM standards, Do Luong town met the urban civilization standards, the rural appearance was increasingly spacious and renewed. Do Luong district strives to achieve the NTM district by the end of 2022, by 2025, 15 communes will meet the advanced NTM standards./.
