On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2019), this morningToday, November 10, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and shared the Great Unity Day with the people of Cao Veu 1 village, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district.
Also attending were representatives of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Office, Anh Son district, Phuc Son Border Guard Station, and Muong Cham Village Cluster (Bolikhamxay province, Lao PDR).

Cao Veu 1 village is located close to the Vietnam - Laos border, 20 km from the center of Phuc Son commune. The village has a natural area of 259 hectares, 93 households with 323 people, of which 71 are Thai ethnic households. In recent years, despite many difficulties in life, the people of Cao Veu 1 village have always promoted the spirit of solidarity in building and developing economic and cultural life, gradually eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, making the face of the mountainous countryside increasingly prosperous. |

Cao Veu 1 Village has had many patriotic emulation movements. The most prominent is the new rural construction movement. In 2019, the villagers contributed 80 million VND and 600 working days to upgrade roads and purchase cultural facilities.

In the village, 100% of school-age children go to school. Security and order are always maintained. In particular, the village has done a good job of coordinating with the Phuc Son Border Guard Station and Phuc Son Commune to organize visits and exchanges with Phon Muong Village and Muong Cham Village Cluster, Bolikhamxay Province, Lao PDR, contributing to maintaining national security in the new situation. |

Comrade Le Hong Vinh hopes that in the coming time, Cao Veu 1 village, Phuc Son commune will continuously strive to develop, build many models, typical examples in economic development, improve the quality of cultural life. The villagers say no to drugs; preserve local traditions and customs; continue to strengthen relationships, regularly exchange with Phon Muong village, Muong Cham village cluster, Bolikhamxay province, contributing to building a peaceful border area.
