At the conference, the provincial People's Council delegates announced the plan, content and program of the 8th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council. The session is expected to take place on December 10-12.
The conference recorded 7 petitions from voters, mentioning 21 groups of issues such as: Progress of the construction project of the road from Thanh Lien commune intersection to Ho Chi Minh road; land disputes between households and between households and Prison No. 6 of the Ministry of Public Security; slow repair of works damaged by natural disasters and floods; degraded power grid systems in some localities, posing many potential dangers to people...
After receiving voters' opinions and recommendations, Thanh Chuong district leaders and related departments and branches directly explained the contents under their authority.
Explaining voters' opinions on the road project from Thanh Lien commune intersection to Ho Chi Minh trail, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa said that this project has been approved to be included in the ODA project through a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), so he requested the district leaders to pay attention and promote the project so that it can be implemented soon.
Regarding the support for damage caused by natural disasters, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa requested the district to pay attention to directing relevant departments and branches from the district to the commune to survey and examine carefully to promptly support the people. In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the locality pay attention to implementing policies for people with meritorious services, and the Electricity sector should pay attention to upgrading the degraded power grid system to ensure safety as well as meet the living needs of the people.
