Regulations on penalties for passengers violating traffic order and safety regulations

Thing 33 Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulatesxPenalties for passengers violating traffic order and safety regulations are as follows:
1. A fine of VND 100,000 to VND 200,000 shall be imposed for one of the following violations:
a) Failure to comply with the instructions of the driver or service staff on the vehicle regarding regulations to ensure traffic order and safety;
b) Causing disorder on the vehicle.

2. A fine of from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed for one of the following violations:
a) Carrying toxic chemicals, flammable or explosive substances, dangerous goods or prohibited goods on passenger vehicles;
b) Hanging or clinging to the side of the vehicle; standing, sitting or lying on the hood, roof or luggage compartment; opening the vehicle door without permission or engaging in other unsafe acts while the vehicle is moving.
3. A fine of VND 2,000,000 to VND 3,000,000 shall be imposed for acts of threatening or violating the health of other passengers, drivers, or service staff on the vehicle.
4. In addition to being fined, a person who commits a violation specified in Point a, Clause 2 of this Article shall also be subject to the additional penalty of confiscation of toxic chemicals, flammable and explosive substances, dangerous goods, and prohibited goods carried on a passenger vehicle.
