Student Nguyen Quang Vinh – class 12A3 –Huynh Thuc Khang High Schoolsaid: Since the beginning of the school year, we have been studying online and have basically been able to keep up with the program. However, I still want to return to school because if we continue studying online, it will affect our health and eyes. Moreover, at this time, we only have more than 1 semester left before the High School Graduation Exam, so we are really worried. I think that if we study in person, our learning will be more effective and of better quality.
To ensure student safety, in recent days, Huynh Thuc Khang High School has disinfected and cleaned the entire schoolyard.

Mr. Phan Xuan Hoai Linh - Secretary of the Youth Union of Huynh Thuc Khang High School also said: In current conditions, ensuring safety for students is still the top priority.
Therefore, in addition to strictly following the 5K message, we require students to strictly follow the regulation of “one route, two destinations” to limit contact between classes. The school does not organize activities that gather large crowds.

At Ha Huy Tap High School, as planned, nearly 550 12th grade students will also go to school this morning.
However, last night (November 14), because the family of a student in class 12A7 had contact with a wedding in Nghi Xuan commune (Ha Tinh) and a case at the wedding was found positive for Covid-19, the students of this class temporarily stopped going to school to wait for the Covid-19 test results (a day before, a group of students from the class gathered to clean the classroom). Some other students in class 12A1 who had close contact with this student also did not go to school and the school was forced to organize parallel teaching in both in-person and online forms.

Regarding these special cases, teacher Cao Thanh Bao - Principal of the school said: At present, when the epidemic is still complicated, we have come up with flexible plans to organize effective teaching and learning, even when there are cases where students and teachers are at risk of infection. Immediately after students return to school, the school will also focus on professional work, to promptly supplement the knowledge that is lacking due to prolonged online learning. At the same time, tutoring and training will be strengthened to ensure review for final year students, especially grade 12 students, to prepare for the 2022 High School Graduation Exam.

Because many students cannot go to school due to the infection case in Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh), some classes at Ha Huy Tap High School use cameras to record lessons so that students can watch the live lessons at home. Photo: Duc Anh |
The decision to allow 12th grade students to return to school at this time has also been considered by the Education sector and that will help students feel more secure when they have many important exams ahead.
