Regarding 2 mines in Dien Loi (Dien Chau), mining beyond the licensed boundary with a large area, recently the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Nghe An has sent a document requesting Dien Chau district to inspect and strictly handle.
As Nghe An Newspaper reported, in the article"Many abnormalities at 2 mines in Dien Chau", reflecting the incident of two mines of Thien Hoang Equipment Joint Stock Company and Hoang Phuc Company Limited, in Dien Loi Commune (Dien Chau), being discovered to be exploiting beyond the licensed boundary with a large area.

After Nghe An Newspaper reported, recently on August 28, 2024, Nghe An Department of Natural Resources and Environment issued Document No. 6106/STNMT-KS requesting Dien Chau District People's Committee to urgently establish a delegation to organize inspections of mineral exploitation units in the district under the direction of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. In particular, pay special attention to the following acts: exploiting minerals outside the permitted scope and boundary (including cases of lost landmarks); exploiting incorrectly designed; exploiting beyond permitted capacity; not declaring or not fully declaring the volume of exploited minerals; exploiting without complying with labor safety standards and regulations; not installing weighing stations, cameras to monitor mining activities and warehouses; appointment and notification of mine executives; periodic reporting regime on mineral activities; compliance with other provisions of the Law on Land, Environment and other relevant legal provisions...

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment also requested the People's Committee of Dien Chau district to urgently complete the inspection of compliance with the law in mineral activities for the two violating units and strictly handle violations (if any) according to regulations. Report the results of the inspection and handling to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Natural Resources and Environment), and at the same time, respond to the press agencies that have reported on the two mines mentioned above.
