Focus on removing bottlenecks in administrative reform
(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing to lead and direct the effective implementation of administrative reform in the province, focusing on directing and urging branches and People's Committees at all levels to implement resolutely, with quality, and ensuring the time of the set goals and tasks is the content emphasized at the Conference on deploying key tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the Department of Home Affairs.
On the morning of July 15, the Department of Home Affairs held an online conference to review the sector's work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2022.
Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; representatives of leaders of districts, cities, towns and related departments and branches.

Many remarkable results
In the first 6 months of 2022, the Department of Home Affairs has performed well the State management work in the area in accordance with the assigned functions and tasks; proactively led and directed the sectors to perform well, effectively and efficiently advised on the tasks according to the set plan.
Notably, administrative reform continued to be implemented synchronously and achieved some remarkable results. Nghe An province's administrative reform index in 2021 ranked 17th out of 63 localities, up 1 place compared to 2020.
Reduce unnecessary and cumbersome administrative procedures; regularly review and systematize legal documents; apply information technology in management and administration; gradually improve the quality of civil servants and public employees.

In recent times, the department has also effectively implemented the Project on reorganizing the organization and apparatus in conjunction with the management of payroll. The training and development of cadres and civil servants has been organized and implemented in accordance with the planning, plans and requirements.
The work of building the government has been given attention and focused direction by leaders at all levels. Especially the work of organizing and rearranging the staff of communes after merging administrative units at commune level and villages, hamlets, blocks, and villages; the work of managing and adjusting administrative boundaries according to the development requirements of the province and effectively handling and resolving administrative boundary disputes associated with the implementation of Decision 513 of the Prime Minister.

The State management of religion has made great efforts; timely advising the Party Committees and authorities at all levels to resolve a number of complicated cases that pose a potential risk to security and order in the province. The State management of emulation and rewards has become increasingly systematic, with rewards directed towards direct workers; obstacles and backlogs in emulation and rewards have been gradually resolved and handled in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, regarding the key tasks for the last 6 months of 2022, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs proposed to continue reviewing and promptly issuing Decisions regulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of State administrative agencies according to the Government's Decree and guiding Circulars of ministries and branches, in conjunction with the implementation of the Project to implement the Central Resolution 6 (term XII) of agencies and units approved by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee.
Along with that, the Home Affairs sector continues to direct the completion of regulations on assignment and decentralization, strengthen supervision, inspection and examination after decentralization; review, evaluate and effectively implement the mechanism of autonomy and self-responsibility of public service units; improve individual satisfaction with services provided by public service units; organize the recruitment of civil servants in 2022 according to the set plan.
