Thai Hoa: 350 athletes participate in the 2017 open karate tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 1, the Thai Hoa town Sports and Culture Center held the opening ceremony of the 2nd Open Karatedo Tournament in 2017.
This year's open karate tournament was held over 3 days from the 1st to the 3rd, with the participation of 350 male and female athletes from 12 karate clubs in Thai Hoa Town, Nghia Dan District and Nhu Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province.

Athletes compete in two age groups: Under 12 and Over 12, competing in 27 events: keta (boxing) and kumite (sparring).

The Open Karate Tournament is one of the major sports activities of karate in Thai Hoa town. Through the tournament, it aims to create opportunities for athletes to exchange experiences, train their bodies, thereby selecting and nurturing talents to participate in major tournaments of the province.
