Vinh City prepares detailed planning for both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard

At the meeting, the city approved the plan to implement Decision No. 827/QD-TTg approving the Project to develop Vinh city into an economic and cultural center of the North Central region by 2023 in the spirit of Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo.

11 groups of tasks have been deployed for units, agencies, wards and communes.

Accordingly, the city focuses on implementing Decision No. 52/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, Conclusion No. 188-KL/TU dated May 9, 2020 of the Provincial Party Committee on the results of 5 years of implementing Decision No. 52/QD-TTg; Proactively coordinate with departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to propose the Government to recommend the National Assembly.Expanding the administrative boundaries of Vinh cityaccording to approved planning. Strictly implement planning management, issue planning management regulations, architectural management regulations of Vinh city, Vinh city urban development program to 2030, vision to 2050, and urban zoning planning implementation plan.

The city will organize the establishment of zoning plans (1/2000) for wards and communes, and detailed plans (1/500) for both sides.Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue(Vinh city area); both banks of Vinh river; areas with potential for urban development in Nghi An, Nghi Phu, Nghi Duc, Hung Loc, Hung Hoa communes...

Organize detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 for a number of key projects in the fields of culture, education, trade and services: Dang Thai Mai Secondary School; Regional exhibition and fair center; Quyet Mountain Forest Park; Hung Dong 2 Industrial Cluster;Vinh Market; Quan Lau Market…

The city effectively manages and develops technical infrastructure associated with urban beautification, administrative management of apartments and urban areas, ensuring the construction of a modern, civilized, green - clean - beautiful Vinh city.

The City assigns the Urban Management Department to preside over and advise the City People's Committee to organize the implementation of tasks related to construction planning and urban planning. The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to advise on the implementation of the content of expanding the administrative boundaries of Vinh City according to the approved plan.

The city also proactively builds the Vinh City Land Use Plan from 2021 to 2030 to ensure development requirements and integration with neighboring areas of localities adjacent to the city (new construction, promulgated in 2021). Focus on planning resettlement land, urban development land, commercial land, service land, policy land... in a reasonable and scientific manner.

At the meeting, the city also deployed the task of developing key sectors and fields to make Vinh city the center of the North Central region.
