Thousands of dangerous children's toys seized in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - A shipment of children's toys including 2,000 plastic guns and 384 plastic swords of various sizes and types has just been discovered and seized by authorities.
At 9:30 a.m. on August 26, the Economic Police Team (Vinh City Police) inspected Thai Hien warehouse, located in Cong Hoa block, Vinh City, rented by Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, born in 1982, residing in Vinh Tan ward. The results discovered many dangerous children's toys, including 2,000 plastic guns, 384 plastic swords, of all sizes and types.

These are prohibited items for production and sale. The owner of the above goods admitted to purchasing the goods from China and transporting them to sell during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.

Currently, the Economic Police Team (Vinh City Police) has confiscated all of the above toys and prepared a file to handle them according to regulations.
