In the first quarter of 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and socio-political organizations continued to actively implement emulation movements; protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members and the people.

The Provincial Labor Federation completed the direction of the grassroots trade union congress for the 2023-2028 term, strengthened propaganda work on the 19th Nghe An Trade Union Congress; deployed support for union members and employees whose working hours were reduced and whose labor contracts were terminated due to businesses cutting or reducing orders.

HAS MANY OUTSTANDING FEATURES, CREATING POSITIVE CHANGES

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu acknowledged the performance results in the first quarter of 2023 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and socio-political organizations at the provincial level; especially closely following the political tasks of the locality and unit, promoting the role, actively organizing patriotic emulation activities and movements, and disease prevention work.

Through many diverse and flexible forms, the units have propagated and mobilized people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State; actively responded to activities and major holidays; enthusiastically participated in production and business, built skillful mass mobilization models, production and business in the locality with good spreading effects; participated in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; contributed to the socio-economic development of the province.

Organizations and units have paid attention to social security work, especially for the poor during the Lunar New Year; especially actively participating in implementing the province's policy on the campaign to support house building for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in the province; which has been highly appreciated by the people.

Regarding the tasks in the second quarter of 2023, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu noted a number of key contents; accordingly, it is necessary to have solutions to grasp the situation and public opinion in a timely, complete, accurate and scientific manner; strengthen close contact and strongly focus on the grassroots, through union members, association members and other information channels to grasp and promptly handle issues right at the grassroots level.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and provincial-level socio-political organizations to proactively organize a mid-term review and assessment of the implementation of the Party Congress resolution; thereby, taking measures to continue to most effectively implement the goals and targets.

Organizations and units also need to continue to closely follow the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to propagate in order to contribute to effectively implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the locality; continue to coordinate well in propaganda work to create response and consensus of the people in the process of implementing the Program to mobilize support for building and repairing houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in the province in the period of 2023 - 2025, especially in mountainous districts.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu also noted that it is necessary to pay more attention to the implementation of regular tasks, which is to have effective solutions and measures to gather union members to participate in union and association activities, especially in special areas; pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level; and at the same time protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and socio-political organizations to continue to replicate models and examples that have a high influence and consensus among the people; and to work with Party committees and authorities to effectively implement programs on new rural construction, poverty reduction, and ethnic and religious affairs.

Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and socio-political organizations continue to pay attention to, improve the quality, strengthen the function of social supervision and criticism; deploy the social supervision and criticism plan in 2023 in accordance with the functions and tasks; focus on promoting administrative reform at their organizations and units; at the same time, widely propagate and create social consensus to carry out administrative reform work according to the viewpoints and directions of the province, especially after the establishment of the Provincial Steering Committee for Administrative Reform.
