The Provincial Military Command was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense. The Provincial Military Party Committee was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; the Provincial Party Standing Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit for 5 consecutive years of excellent performance (2020-2024). In particular, the Provincial Armed Forces were honored to receive the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" for the second time by the President on October 10, 2024.

In 2025, the Provincial Military Command will continue to coordinate well with the Police, Border Guard, departments, branches and localities in the province to strictly maintain combat readiness; grasp the situation, maintain stability in the area; organize drills of plans; prepare forces and means to be ready to perform tasks when ordered; prepare and carry out training well...

Reporting to Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet and the working delegation, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province emphasized: In 2024, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province have united, strived and achieved many remarkable achievements. National defense and security have been consolidated and enhanced. Political security, order and social safety are stable. The province's socio-economy has been restored and continuously developed.

Growth rate reached 9.01% (ranked 2nd in the North Central region, 13th nationwide). State budget revenue reached 25,517 billion VND (the third consecutive year exceeding the 20,000 billion VND mark). Investment attraction achieved positive results, of which FDI attraction reached 1.75 billion USD (ranked in the top 10 localities nationwide for the third consecutive year).

Attention is paid to cultural and social fields, especially social security work and the program to mobilize and support the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the province. After 2 years, Nghe An has called for 843 billion VND; built and repaired over 12,000 houses, reaching 77% of the total number of houses that need to be built and repaired. It is expected that by June 2025, the support for the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties will be completed.
