Vinh City conducts 6th large-scale testing to find F0

According to the report of Vinh City People's Committee, on September 16, the locality took the 6th sample for 11,999 people in 4 blocks and hamlets, including Quang Trung, Cua Tien of Vinh Tan ward; hamlet 4 of Hung Chinh commune and block 14 of Le Loi ward. These are "high-risk" areas, which have recorded many F0 cases recently.

Currently, the test results of this batch are not yet available. Previously, in 5 large-scale sample collection tests, Vinh City discovered more than 100 F0 cases in the community.

Also on September 16, Vinh City locked down the Trung Do Cooperative Apartment in Ben Thuy Ward due to 4 community F0s, and conducted PCR testing for 500 residents in the apartment building. For the 72 samples taken in hamlets 7 and 10 on September 15 in Nghi Phu Commune related to the 3 father and son infected with Covid-19 that have been announced, all results are negative.

Regarding violations of epidemic prevention and control regulations, although Vinh City has switched to social distancing according to Directive 15, in recent days, authorities have regularly fined violations. Specifically, on September 16 (as of 8:00 p.m.), 8 cases were fined with a total fine of 27.5 million VND; on September 15, 8 cases were fined with a total fine of 15 million VND; on September 14, 5 cases were fined with a total fine of 9 million VND. From August 14 to now, Vinh City has fined 1,771 cases of violations of epidemic prevention and control regulations, with a total fine of more than 6.3 billion VND.
