Awarding the Special Task Force for arresting a subject transporting 2.5kg of crystal meth

On the afternoon of April 2, the leaders of Thai Hoa town organized an award ceremony for the 318M Project Team, which caught a subject red-handed transporting 2.5 kg of crystal meth.

After many days of monitoring and closely following the subject's every move, at about 7:30 p.m. on March 21, on National Highway 48, through Hamlet 1, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town, the Town Police decided to arrest Nguyen Huu Quang (born in 1976), residing in Hamlet 4, Dien Trung Commune, Dien Chau District, while transporting drugs.

The seized evidence included 2.5 kg of crystal meth along with a motorbike and a mobile phone. At the investigation agency, the subject confessed that the drugs were purchased from Laos through unofficial channels.

Project 318M that Thai Hoa town police broke up with the largest amount of drugs seized since the town was established. This project is also considered a success in all stages, of which the two most important stages are reconnaissance and litigation process. Ensuring close coordination, safety and good implementation of litigation process.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thai Hoa town decided to award the 318M Project Team with an amount of 15 million VND.
