Hung Long Commune receives Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 22, Hung Long commune, Hung Nguyen district solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition for achieving New Rural Area (NTM) standards in 2017.
Attending the welcoming ceremony were comrade Nguyen Dinh Huong - Former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy of the Central Organizing Committee; representatives of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, representatives of departments and branches, leaders of Hung Nguyen district and outstanding generations and people of Hung Long commune.

At the ceremony, Hung Long commune reviewed the 6-year journey of implementing the national target program on building new rural areas. Starting from a purely agricultural commune (only about 5/19 criteria) and still having many limitations, but thanks to efforts to rise up, there were many proactive and creative solutions to successfully implement the new rural program.
Along with selecting key investment items, the commune also knows how to propagate and mobilize people to achieve transportation goals, community cultural institutions, and develop production and business sectors...

Thanks to that, after 6 years, along with the consolidation of infrastructure to serve the improvement of production capacity, the commune has nearly 50 farms and nearly 300 individual production and business households, cooperatives established and developed, thereby creating jobs and stable income for nearly 3,000 workers in the area. Average income increased from 15 million VND/person in 2011 to 28.6 million VND/person in 2017, the poverty rate decreased from over 9% to 4.47%; the political system has grown strong and comprehensive.
Within 6 years, Hung Long commune mobilized nearly 133 billion VND to implement the new rural criteria, of which the state budget at all levels was nearly 25 billion VND, capital combined from other investment programs and projects was nearly 51 billion VND and people contributed nearly 58 billion VND, accounting for 43.6% of the total budget...
Many new and synchronous infrastructure items have been invested in, such as the Kindergarten, the Cultural Center and the Commune Administrative Headquarters, and the traffic roads have been basically upgraded...

At the ceremony to announce and receive the Certificate of recognition for meeting the new rural standards, the Provincial People's Committee also announced the decision to reward 500 million VND for reaching the finish line and awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to join hands to build the new rural areas of Hung Long commune in the period 2011-2017.
On this occasion, Hung Long commune also announced the decision that the commune's Kindergarten has met the National Standard Level 1 and received the title of Cultural Unit. Hung Nguyen District People's Committee announced the decision to reward the finishing line of 700 million VND and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building new rural areas of Hung Long commune./.
