Drug trafficking at midnight, female monster arrested
(Baonghean.vn) - After completing her prison sentence, instead of doing honest business, Le Thi Sen (born in 1983), residing in Hamlet 1, Duc Son Commune, Anh Son District, continued to commit crimes. To have money to cover her living expenses and personal expenses, Sen worked as a "wooden leg" transporting and distributing synthetic drugs locally, even bringing them to Thai Hoa Town to sell to those in need.
In early May 2016, in Thai Hoa town, a synthetic drug trafficking ring emerged with extremely aggressive methods.
The subjects in the ring operate very discreetly, mainly at midnight or early morning. Therefore, the police's work of ambushing and capturing the subjects encountered many difficulties.

Faced with the above situation, Thai Hoa Town Police decided to establish a special project with code number 0516M, assigning the Criminal Police - Economic - Drug Team to deploy a plan to solve the case.
Accordingly, a working group led by comrade Pham Van Huy, Deputy Captain of the Criminal - Economic - Drug Police Team, was assigned to be present at locations where the subjects in the above ring often appeared to investigate, collect information and monitor their movements.
During the undercover operation, the detectives discovered a woman over 30 years old who often appeared in Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa Town at night. One detail that made the detectives pay special attention was that every time she appeared, this woman did not meet or talk to anyone but made continuous phone calls.
Considering that the subject was most likely the “main source” for supplying drugs to those in need in the town, the plan to fight the woman was quickly deployed by the Special Task Force. The task for the detectives was to identify and clarify the identity of this suspect.
However, because the subject did not meet anyone, including drug addicts and users of crystal meth, it was difficult to approach, investigate and verify. During an ambush and surveillance, the detectives took a photo of this subject when she appeared at Hieu Bridge at 9:00 p.m.
Using professional measures, combined with some collected documents, the Investigation Committee has clarified the identity and relatives of the subject. That is Le Thi Sen (born in 1983), permanent residence in Hamlet 1, Duc Son Commune, Anh Son District. Although she has a husband and 2 small children, Sen does not take care of her family's happiness but often wanders here and there and falls into the path of crime.
In 2014, Sen lied to her family that she was going to the northern provinces to do business, but in reality it was to engage in prostitution. However, she was arrested by the police and had to serve a 14-month prison sentence for the above crime.
In 2015, after being released from prison, Sen returned to his hometown but refused to “reform” and instead began to associate with complex elements inside and outside the district. In particular, recently, when the couple was waiting for the divorce court date, Sen was often absent from the locality, and no one knew where he went or what he did.
With the collected documents, the Task Force confirmed that Le Thi Sen was a subject who specialized in supplying drugs to those in need in Thai Hoa Town. Accordingly, the plan to catch the subject red-handed was quickly discussed and calculated specifically by the Task Force.
On the night of May 29, detectives from the Criminal - Economic - Drug Police Team of Thai Hoa Town Police discovered Le Thi Sen appearing in Thai Hoa Town. At this time, Captain Le Dinh Ha, Captain of the Criminal - Economic - Drug Police Team, Deputy Head of the special task force, reported the situation to the leaders of the town police, and quickly deployed detective teams to catch the subject red-handed.

Evidence of the case |
At around 10:10 p.m. the same day, detectives discovered Sen appearing in a deserted mountainous area, far from residential areas in Hoa Hieu block. To catch the subject red-handed, Captain Le Dinh Ha assigned 2 working groups to ambush at 2 important locations. The second group was tasked with swooping in to catch the subject red-handed as soon as they received the signal to solve the case.
When Le Thi Sen finished making a phone call and was taking the “goods” out of her pocket and had not yet put them in the bushes by the roadside, the detectives quickly arrived and caught her red-handed. Taking advantage of the late night, Le Thi Sen fled but was arrested by the detective team from both sides, who ambushed her and seized the evidence of 200 synthetic drug pills.
At the Thai Hoa City Police Department, Le Thi Sen confessed to her crime. Accordingly, while waiting to go to court for divorce proceedings, she brought synthetic drugs to Thai Hoa City three times to sell to those in need.
Thi was extremely cautious when receiving money in advance at the location agreed upon over the phone with the “customer”, then delivering the drugs at the place where the money was received. The delivery time was mainly at midnight or early morning to avoid detection by authorities and the masses.
Regarding the 200 synthetic drug pills seized, Sen said they were provided by an unidentified person in Tuong Duong district. Sen was responsible for distributing the “goods”, and for each successful trip, he would receive a “commission” depending on the amount of “goods” sold. The case is being further investigated and expanded.
