MANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON PRODUCTION LIFE AND VILLAGE CADRE REGIME

At the meeting with voters, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of Nam Dan District People's Committee informed voters of the expected content and program of the mid-year session of 2023, the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported a summary of the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2023; reported the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before, during and after the 11th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

The representative of the Nam Dan District People's Council Delegation also informed voters of the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the District People's Council; A summary report on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of 2023; A report on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before, during and after the District People's Council meeting at the end of 2022.

After listening to the reports, voters of Nam Nghia commune agreed, expressed joy and excitement at the results of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province and Nam Dan district in 2022 and the first 6 months of 2023. On the other hand, administrative reform has positive changes, people's lives are improving day by day, and the rural landscape is increasingly prosperous.

Reflecting to the delegates of the Provincial People's Council and the Nam Dan District People's Council, voter Nguyen Van Thanh requested the State to pay attention to the issue of clean water for the area of ​​3 communes: Nam Nghia, Nam Thai, Nam Hung; and to allocate agricultural land to the people. Voter Nguyen Van Thinh requested the province and district to create favorable conditions and support funding for hamlet 1 to build a hamlet cultural house.

Voters suggested paying attention to allowances for branches in hamlets; preferential treatment for population cadres during the Covid-19 pandemic prevention period; treatment for people who participated in the resistance war; speeding up the progress of the construction of the eternal ecological cemetery project to meet people's needs; paying attention to the prevention of drowning for children; and solving the problem of oversized and overloaded vehicles in the area.

Voters of Nam Nghia commune also requested to solve the shortage of primary school teachers; have a mechanism for communes to auction assets after the merger to regulate for hamlets; study financial support for secretaries and hamlet chiefs who have worked for more than 25 consecutive years; solve the problem of silting and damage to some infrastructure after the construction of the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 15A; solve the problem of lack of irrigation water for production in the area...

After listening to voters' opinions, representatives of the departments: Home Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Transport and Nam Dan District People's Committee answered and explained specifically the issues that voters were interested in.

NGHE AN IN GENERAL AND NAM DAN IN PARTICULAR MUST BE WORTHY OF BEING THE HOMETOWN OF PRESIDENT HO CHI MINH

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung shared with voters general information about the province's socio-economic situation in recent times. Despite the general difficulties, the growth rate, budget collection, investment attraction, new rural construction... of the province have achieved positive results. Cultural and social activities have been vigorously implemented, social security has been ensured, and many programs have high humanitarian values.

In particular, the Politburo recently summarized 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 on Nghe An and agreed to issue a new Resolution on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

"This is a very important Resolution, together with Resolution 36 of the National Assembly, the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, will create favorable conditions for the province to develop in the new period. In the spirit of the new Resolution, the Politburo has high expectations for the development of the province, Nghe An must be worthy of being the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh. The province also hopes that Nam Dan must be worthy of being the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh", the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his excitement, commendation and congratulations on the socio-economic development results, ensuring national defense and security of Nam Dan district in general and Nam Nghia commune in particular. Notably, Nam Nghia is one of the five commune-level units of Nam Dan district, one of the six commune-level units of the province that have been recognized as a model new rural commune.

Emphasizing the difficulties in the past time and forecasting the difficulties in the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung shared with the people of Nam Dan district in general and Nam Nghia commune in particular. Currently, the province is implementing tasks and solutions to gradually remove difficulties, ensuring the people's daily life and production.

To achieve the highest level of goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, the province has been focusing on implementing many key tasks. In particular, the province will immediately implement the new Resolution of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An after it is issued with new momentum and new motivation; after having an action program, all levels and sectors will organize synchronous, comprehensive and strong implementation, associated with the implementation of specific mechanisms and policies.

In addition, the province is focusing on implementing major contents such as: Provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 after approval; Project to expand the Southeast Economic Zone; key works and projects of the Transport sector; effectively implementing 3 National Target Programs and the Program for economic and social recovery and development.

To achieve development goals, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes and hopes that voters and people of Nam Nghia commune in particular and Nam Dan district in general will accompany the province.

On the other hand, the province will accompany Nam Dan district and Nam Nghia commune to achieve the set goals, including resolving difficulties and obstacles, especially in people's lives and production, thereby building Nam Nghia commune and Nam Dan district to develop comprehensively.

Regarding the opinions of voters of Nam Nghia commune, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung highly appreciated their frankness, openness, democracy, and responsibility for the common development of the commune, district, and province. These are legitimate issues that need to be addressed, but many issues need a suitable roadmap and still depend on the policies of the Central Government.

On that basis, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the issues raised by voters that fall within the authority of departments, branches, and Nam Dan district should be addressed and advised to the province to resolve within its authority. For issues beyond its authority, the province will synthesize and report to the Central Government for consideration and resolution.

Also at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung discussed and explained more opinions of voters of Nam Nghia commune related to the regime and policies for commune and hamlet-level officials after the merger; rearrangement of facilities of hamlets after the merger; regime for population officials participating in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic; staffing for educational institutions; investment in socio-economic infrastructure, agricultural production in the area...
