Continuing the program of meeting voters and campaigning for elections, on the afternoon of May 11, candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, at constituency No. 14, met with voters in 5 communes and towns: Chau Hoi, Chau Nga, Chau Binh, Chau Hanh and Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district. 5 candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 in constituency No. 14, include Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Minh The - Head of the General Department, Provincial Party Committee Office; Que Thi Tram Ngoc - Head of the Department of Drafting and Inspection of Legal Documents, Department of Justice; Vuong Quang Minh - Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee; Vi Van Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Quy Chau District Party Committee.

At the meeting, voters listened to the conference chair present brief biographies of candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 and candidates for the People's Council of Quy Chau district.

In his capacity as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, reporting to voters on his planned action program, Mr. Nguyen Van Thong affirmed: Over the past time, with the attention of the Party and State; the efforts of the cadres in the political system; especially the great efforts of all classes of people, the face of the mountainous countryside and the lives of the people have changed a lot.

However, in reality, there are still many difficulties and many difficult problems to be pondered. For example, the economy is not yet developing strongly, the rate of poor households is still higher than many other regions; ethnic minorities and mountainous areas are still disadvantaged in enjoying cultural and spiritual values, health care, etc.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong said: All existing problems and current development goals in mountainous areas in general and in Quy Chau district in particular must be overcome and implemented effectively.

Including timely, complete and effective implementation of the State's mechanisms and policies for mountainous areas and ethnic minorities; creating conditions for people to develop production and business, eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, develop the economy, encourage agricultural and forestry development models, link upstream forest protection with reasonable exploitation of forest products to improve people's income...

For candidate Vuong Quang Minh - Secretary of Quy Chau District Party Committee, the most important issue in the action plan is to continue connecting with all levels, sectors and the Provincial People's Council to effectively resolve pressing issues in mountainous districts and Quy Chau district in particular related to land for production for people; providing electricity to all villages.

Promote the implementation of projects and economic models based on exploiting regional potential and strengths; associated with vocational training, job creation, promoting labor export, increasing income, and sustainably reducing poverty for people.

For candidate Vo Minh The - Head of the General Department, Provincial Party Committee Office, the most concerned issue in the action program is the concern about solutions to solve problems that are being raised in practice related to land disputes; the issue of forest allocation associated with forestry land; improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for people; having solutions to solve social problems such as environmental protection, drug abuse and sustainable poverty reduction.

At the conference, voters expressed their high agreement with the candidates' proposed action program with many profound contents, close to the practical social life.

Voters also expect candidates to keep their promises and fully implement their action programs when elected as provincial and district People's Council delegates.
