In recent times, Vietnam's labor productivity has improved significantly. Labor productivity in 2016 reached 84.4 million VND/worker (equivalent to about 7,398 USD), and by 2021 it will reach 171.3 million VND/worker, more than double that of 2016. However, compared to other countries in the region and the world, Vietnam's labor productivity is still low.
