Because her husband works far away, since joining the mission at the checkpoint, Nguyen Thi Ut Hien has had to send her two young children to her grandparents. "Working here, I come into contact with many people, especially truck drivers, the risk of infection is very high, so I don't dare to be near my children even though I miss them very much" - Ut Hien said. Putting aside housework, regardless of hardship, heat, staying up late, as well as the risk of disease, the checkpoint team of Senior Lieutenant Hien as well as other checkpoint teams in Vinh city always maintain a 24/7 force, working with a spirit of initiative and responsibility. "On the night shift, it is mainly medical staff taking samples and police officers and soldiers on duty on the road, there are also fewer people passing through the checkpoint so it is less difficult and less hot than the day shift" - Lieutenant Colonel Huyen said.
