On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, delegate Hoang Thi Thu Trang briefly reported to voters on the content of the 8th session's agenda. At the session, the National Assembly considered and passed 11 draft laws such as: Law on Civil Servants and Public Employees, Law on Local Government, Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens; Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces and gave opinions on 8 draft laws.

Speaking at the conference, voters agreed that the law-making work of the National Assembly has been increasingly improved in quantity and quality. However, according to voters, the provisions of the Law on Legal Documents stipulate that when laws are issued, there must be accompanying circulars and decrees, but for some laws such as the Law on Cyber Security and the Law on Anti-Corruption, there are still no accompanying regulations.

Besides, in order to improve the quality of legal documents, voters suggested that there should be a mechanism clearly defining the responsibilities of those participating in drafting and promulgating laws.

Voter Tran Xuan Luc reflected on the overlapping activities of some social organizations. Citing the Association of Former Youth Volunteers and the Association of Agent Orange Victims, the voter said that due to the lack of State subsidies, the commune was forced to allocate budget for these associations, in addition to arranging facilities. This made the apparatus too cumbersome, while these two organizations still participated in activities with the Veterans Association.

Also related to the organization of associations, some other opinions say that there should be a support fund for associations to properly promote their role in social activities.

Regarding the increase in retirement age, voter Bui Thanh Tung suggested that there should be a separate mechanism for those who want to retire early, creating conditions for the younger generation to take on the job.

Voter Bui Thi Kim Thanh, a person working in the education sector, suggested that there should be a separate mechanism for the education sector, because this is a special sector, especially for teachers in mountainous areas, when the retirement age is increased, they will face many difficulties in teaching.

Voters also spent a lot of time reflecting on many issues arising in the area. These were the shortcomings in the situation of farmers abandoning their fields; the socialized revenue and expenditure in education; the allocation of forestry land to the people; land management, problems in granting land use right certificates to the people; policies for policy beneficiaries and former youth volunteers; the supervision of the use of works and projects...
