Criminal detention of electric motorbike thief in school
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 5, Thai Hoa Town Police (Nghe An) said that they are temporarily detaining Nguyen Khac Duc (born in 1996), residing in Dong Quang hamlet, Dong Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town, to clarify the act of property theft.
Previously, on September 3, the patrol team of Hoa Hieu Ward Police was on duty in Tan Thanh block, Hoa Hieu Ward and discovered a young man driving an electric motorbike with license plate 37MD1-815.27 with many suspicious signs, so the working team requested an inspection.
During the initial investigation, the suspect confessed that he was Nguyen Khac Duc (born in 1996), residing in Dong Quang hamlet, Dong Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town. During the investigation, Nguyen Khac Duc confessed: At 3:00 p.m. on September 3, 2018, Nguyen Khac Duc entered the area of Dong Hieu High School, Thai Hoa town and saw in the school's parking lot an electric motorbike with license plate 37MD1 - 815.27 with the key.

The working group of Hoa Hieu Ward Police has drawn up a record of the incident, seized evidence, and requested the subject to return to the police station for questioning. During the questioning at the police station, Nguyen Khac Duc confessed to all of his acts of theft.
Considering that Nguyen Khac Duc's behavior showed signs of property theft, exceeding the jurisdiction of the Ward Police, Hoa Hieu Ward Police prepared an initial file and transferred the case to the Town Police for investigation and handling.
