Bathing in Lam River, 3 mother and children, aunt and niece tragically drowned

According to local people, at around 3:00 p.m. on July 21, Ms. Vo Thi Hue (born in 1977), her son Tran Ly Huynh (born in 2012), and her nephew Vo Cong Phong (born in 2013), the son of Ms. Hue's younger brother, all living in Hamlet 9B (now Hamlet 6), Hung Linh Commune (Hung Nguyen), went to the Lam River wharf near Yen Xuan Bridge (new) to swim.
While bathing, all three people were swept away by the water. When people came to bathe, they discovered an electric bicycle and three pairs of sandals on the riverbank. Thinking something was wrong, they shouted for help. However, the search and rescue work was extremely difficult.
Upon receiving the news, the provincial rescue force sent personnel, 2 cars and specialized vehicles to coordinate with local forces to search and rescue the victims.
On the night of July 21, search and rescue activities such as sailing boats along the river, setting nets, and fishing lines continued continuously on the Lam River. People gathered on the riverbank to watch the incident until late at night. At about 5 minutes to 24:00 the same day, rescue forces discovered and recovered the body of a boy near Yen Xuan Bridge.
At around 3am this morning (July 22), authorities recovered the bodies of Ms. Hue and her child. It is known that Ms. Hue was from Hung Linh commune, married and moved to Long Xa, divorced her husband, and now brought her child and grandchild (her younger brother's child) to Long Xa to visit when the accident happened.
