(Baonghean.vn) - For the first time, a working group of Vinh City Police was established to carry out a particularly important non-industry task: tracing Covid-19 infections and suspected infections.

The Covid-19 infection case this time is Mr. NVP, the husband of patient NTH who was announced earlier. On June 24, patient NVP was quarantined at Nghe An Pedagogical College and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. Before leaving the centralized quarantine area, all protective gear and belongings are removed, and the tracing team is disinfected. Based on information sources, especially information sources directly exploited about travel schedules and contact processes from infected and suspected cases of the tracing team, the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control can identify the source of infection, identify the epicenter of the epidemic to organize timely blockade; thoroughly isolate F1 and F2 cases, contributing significantly to epidemic prevention and control work, preventing infection chains in the community.
