The Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo on Nghe An.

The plan requires the summary to closely follow the contents of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, Notice No. 55-TB/TW dated April 20, 2019 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated June 18, 2014 of the Politburo on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the North Central and Central coastal regions; Resolutions of the National Assembly, decisions of the Prime Minister, conclusions of Party and State leaders and the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee, Plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 26.

Through the summary, it is necessary to seriously and objectively evaluate and accurately reflect the practical results achieved and unachieved; the causes and profound lessons learned; the difficulties and issues arising in the process of implementing the Resolution.

At the same time, it proposes feasible viewpoints, orientations, goals, tasks, solutions, mechanisms and policies suitable to the context, role and position of the province, region and the whole country in the new period.

The summary must comply with the direction of the Standing Secretariat and the Provincial Party Committee; must meet the requirements, content and progress of the Central Economic Committee's Plan and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee's Plan; must be implemented simultaneously and synchronously, promoting the responsibility and intelligence of all levels, sectors, cadres and people in the province; must proactively coordinate and seek opinions from central ministries, sectors, relevant localities and experts and scientists; and must ensure practicality, quality and effectiveness.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the directors of departments, heads of sectors, branches and localities to directly direct the urgent preparation of a report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 by sector, field and locality on the basis of closely following the requirements and contents of the Central Economic Committee; recommending and proposing to the Central Government on specific mechanisms and policies of the sector, management field and conditions to ensure effective implementation of the Resolution.

The Provincial Statistics Office is assigned to synthesize the data system and indicators, and compare them with localities in the region and the national average in the same period according to the outline of the Central Economic Committee.

Vinh City People's Committee advised the Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee to develop a summary report according to the outline framework of the Central Economic Committee; focusing on in-depth assessment of the content of building Vinh City into a center of finance, trade, tourism, science - technology, information technology, high-tech industry, healthcare, culture, sports, education and training in the period of 2014 - 2021.

The above agencies and units are required by the Provincial People's Committee to send reports to the Department of Planning and Investment before June 23 this year.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over synthesizing and developing a report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 and the viewpoints, orientations, goals and tasks of building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045 on socio-economic contents, development of key areas, national defense, security, foreign affairs, administrative reform and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management to advise the Provincial People's Committee before July 5, 2022.

Along with that, the Provincial People's Committee's Plan also specifically assigns the contents of drafting discussion reports and coordination work.

"Requesting provincial departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns to base on this plan to implement it on schedule and ensure quality," the Provincial People's Committee's Plan signed and issued by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung clearly stated.

Previously, the Central Economic Committee issued Plan No. 85-KH/BKTTW on May 23, 2022, and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Plan No. 102-KH/TU on May 28, 2022 on summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo.
