Arrested a subject transporting a large quantity of drugs from the mountainous areas of Nghe An to the lowlands.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the way to transport a large quantity of drugs from Que Phong district to Hung Nguyen district (Nghe An), Le Van Truong was discovered and arrested by the authorities.
At 0:20 a.m. on August 29, at Vinh bypass road in Hoa Nam hamlet, Nghi Hoa commune (Nghi Loc district), Nghe An police force coordinated with Thong Thu Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) and related forces to arrest red-handed Le Van Truong, born in 1972, hometown of hamlet 7, Hung Long commune, Hung Nguyen district, while illegally transporting drugs.

Evidence collected at the scene included two rectangular blocks (suspected to be heroin) and 1 kg of white powder (suspected to be methamphetamine).
According to Le Van Truong's statement, the above quantity of goods were drugs that he bought from two strange men in Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district, and was on the way to Hung Nguyen district when he was discovered and arrested.
