Emergency arrest of robbery gang in Vinh and Cua Lo led by 2 tattooed young men
(Baonghean.vn) - The criminals drove motorbikes without license plates in groups of 3-6 people, taking advantage of deserted roads and dark nights (from 2-4am) to block roads, using weapons to threaten and rob people.
Nghe An Provincial Police are temporarily detaining 13 juveniles aged 14-18 who committed robberies in Nghe An Province, mainly in Vinh City and Cua Lo Town.

This group of young men often use motorbikes without license plates, traveling in groups of 3-6 people, taking advantage of deserted roads and dark nights (from 2-4am) to block roads, using weapons to rob people, mainly small traders selling seafood, vegetables, and fruits who go to get their goods early.

Those who resist or do not hand over their property, they use knives and swords to threaten and intentionally cause injury.

The two young men leading these two robbery groups are Hoang Quang Thanh, born in 2004, residing in Hung Binh ward, Vinh city and Truong Nhu Thanh Dat, born in 2003, residing in Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town. Both leaders and their accomplices were arrested on August 19-20.

To date, the Special Investigation Committee has identified 12 victims and is continuing to expand the investigation.
Officers from the Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Police) said that most of the victims were women and had financial difficulties. Each case only robbed a few hundred thousand dong, but caused panic among the victims; many of the robbers were high school students in Nghe An province.
The project was chaired by the Provincial Police, directed by the Vinh City Police, Cua Lo Town, Hung Nguyen, and Nghi Loc Police.
