Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan, owner of a flower shop on Le Hong Phong Street, said: "This year I imported more than 100 million VND worth of goods, mainly flower varieties from Da Lat, Lao Cai... However, purchasing power on October 20 this year decreased sharply. As of today (October 19), my shop has only sold 40% of the goods, mainly retail customers..."
That is also the common mood of many flower sellers at this time, according to a survey, most of the stalls have only sold 30 - 50% of their products on this occasion. Some retail outlets have even only sold 2 - 3 bouquets of flowers even though they have been open since October 16.

Vu Thi Tram, a student at Vinh University, sadly said: "Our group contributed 2 million each to import flowers for business on October 20th. However, this year, we only hope to sell all the goods, we don't dare think about making a profit..."
It is known that the main cause leading to theflower marketThe reason for the heavy slump is that it has been raining continuously for the past week, so very few people have come to buy flowers. In addition, because the Central region is currently struggling to cope with floods, many organizations and groups have not organized October 20th like every year, so the flower shops have lost a large number of customers...

In addition, understanding the psychology of people who are afraid to go out in the rain, most shops will offer free home delivery. Shops also increase posting on social networking sites in the hope that people will place orders in the last 2 days, minimizingloss.
