Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department attended the Great Unity Day in Hung Nguyen district

Commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020), on the afternoon of November 16, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department attended the celebration with the people of Residential Area 6, Hung Trung Commune, Hung Nguyen District.

In the warm and united atmosphere of the festival, the residential area of ​​hamlet 6 reviewed the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Vietnam National United Front (now the Vietnam Fatherland Front).

Residential area of ​​hamlet 6, Hung Trung commune (Hung Nguyen) is a purely agricultural hamlet with 216 households and 846 people, of which 114 are Catholic households, accounting for 52.7%.

In the past time, under the leadership of the Party Cell, the coordination of the Executive Committee, the Front Committee of the hamlet and the response of the people, hamlet 6 has carried out patriotic emulation movements well, the campaigns have had a spreading effect, brought about practical results, contributed to the innovation and improvement of the material and spiritual life of the people, maintained social order and security, increasingly created a relationship of solidarity, cohesion, mutual support and assistance.

Implementing the new rural construction program, Hamlet 6 has done well the land consolidation work according to Directive 08 of the Provincial Party Committee. Internal traffic routes have been basically hardened, the irrigation ditch system has been repaired and a part has been concreted with more than 800 million VND contributed by the people and hundreds of working days.

The hamlet has completed 3.2 km of concrete road according to new rural standards with a cost of over 1.3 billion VND, of which people contributed over 844 million VND.

In addition, the hamlet has repaired and upgraded the cultural house and campus with a budget of over 100 million VND. Thanks to that, the appearance of the hamlet has been increasingly renewed and improved.

People in the hamlet actively develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and do a good job of social security and contribute to funds. Up to now, 78% of the hamlet's families have been recognized as cultural families; the number of poor households is 9, a decrease of 3 households compared to 2019; the average income per capita is 43 million VND/person/year.

Talking to the people, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong shared her joy when returning to Hung Trung on the National Great Unity Day and clearly saw the remarkable development of the locality.

The appearance is changing day by day after 5 years of implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new countryside and civilized urban areas"; the people's economy is increasingly developing, the material and spiritual life of the people has improved a lot, the landscape and environment are increasingly green - clean - beautiful.

"The achievements that the cadres and people of hamlet 6, Hung Trung commune have achieved in all fields are thanks to the efforts, struggles, and consensus of each person, each family, cadre, party member, especially promoting the strength of the great solidarity of the people" - Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong emphasized.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested Hung Trung commune and hamlet 6 to continue to arouse the strength of great national unity, well implement the grassroots democracy regulations, village and commune conventions; promote the spirit of creative emulation among the people to create resources in the community, continue to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements; strengthen village and neighborhood ties, care for and help families in difficult circumstances.

The hamlet needs to focus on developing economic models, building cultural families, building increasingly bright - green - clean - beautiful infrastructure; continue to encourage people to complete the new rural construction targets, contributing to the whole Hung Trung commune reaching the finish line.new rural areasby the end of 2020.

At the festival, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged households in hamlet 6, Hung Trung commune; and presented a solidarity house to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue in hamlet 9A, Hung Trung commune.
