Tung Loan gas station in Minh Cao hamlet, Minh Hop commune, Quy Hop district has been closed for nearly 2 years, making it very inconvenient for local people to buy gasoline. Mr. Tran Minh - a local resident shared: "Before, there was a gas station here, so it was very convenient for people, but now they have to go 3-4 km further to National Highway 48 to get gasoline."
Ms. Dinh Thi Kim Chau - Chairman of Minh Hop Commune People's Committee said: The commune has 2 gas stations, currently only 1 gas station is still operating, and the Tung Loan gas station in Minh Cao hamlet has been closed for nearly 2 years, the reason for closing is due to business losses.
The closure of this gas station also affects the daily life of the people, such as the neighbors of Tung Loan gas station, who have to travel 3-4 km to buy gas and oil. In Minh Dinh hamlet alone, people have to go 13-14 km to buy gas and oil. Therefore, many people have to bring cans to buy more gas and oil when they go to buy gas and oil.
A representative of the District Economic Infrastructure Department said: Quy Hop district currently has 29 gas stations, of which 3 gas stations in Ha Son, Minh Hop and Van Loi communes have stopped operating.
The closure of petrol stations has also caused difficulties for local people. People in the remote communes of Ha Son and Van Loi have to travel 7-8 km to Quy Hop town to buy petrol.
Faced with the situation of gas stations being closed, Quy Hop district needs to coordinate with relevant sectors to inspect and review gas stations to remove difficulties and obstacles, to ensure timely supply of gasoline to the people./.
